"There still remains a plethora of companies, individuals and organisations, that may offer the service of delivering youth activities and after school activities, and organising workshops, entertainment and events; so what makes Nugent Education so special?
Firstly, we are much more than just a workshop- network. Almost all of our workshops, activities and events are specially designed to suit the specific needs of both clients and participants. We liaise with our clients to ensure that their needs aims and objectives are met. Some competitors merely compile a list of artists whom they send to schools and youth centres with no knowledge of how good they are. Nugent Education trains its artists. Moreover, from professional teaching backgrounds, our key staff can embody literacy, or other requirements within a creative remit, and have a proven track record of doing so.
Also, unlike many other larger organisations, we have personally known and worked with many of our Artists / Practitioners for many years, ensuring that the right people are sent to the right places! If for any reason an artist cannot attend (sickness for example), we have a large database of CRB checked & fully insured and experienced Artists who can take over. This can be a problem for sole-traders. Also, many individual artists,are not fully insured, and often do not, as a sole-trader have the child protection, health and safety, equal opportunities and other required policies, often obligatory, fully in place.
Though many of our workshops and events may be for pure enjoyment or experiential enrichment, others have varied aims and objectives. With our prior professional background and experience, the company have been very successful in the embodiment of key skills and issues within a creative format. Examples include teaching Literacy through Hip-Hop, Numeracy through drums, social and health issues with music production and bullying and citizenship through drama projects, to name but few. Nugent Education has a proven and on-going track record of meeting a varied range of aimsand objectives, from anti-gun and knife crime and health initiatives, to corporate team building and public organisation events.
The amount of organisations, youth leaders and head-teachers that re-book us is absolutely phenomenal, and this stands as testimony to the success of our workshops and events. We’ve received excellent feedback for our work, and have a huge range of clients including City Councils, Youth Inclusion Projects, Businesses, Schools, and Community Centres throughout the UK.Though not our speciality, we have organised corporate and promotional videos for many large organisations, for a cut rate price, and with excellent results.Our links to first rate talent and sending the right people to the right jobs is the key to our success.
