Nugent-Education Limited - Equal Opportunities Policy Statement

Equal Opportunities Policy Statement

Nugent-education adheres to all aspects of the equal opportunities agenda, in terms of all aspects of discrimination (race, gender, disabilities, employment and so on – see annex 1 at the bottom of this page).  We welcome diversity amongst our employees, employers and participants.  Our after school activities as well as children’s educational activities and all workshops from music to crafts are delivered to people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, including adults and children.

In relation to staff, the policy and practice of the Nugent-Education ensures that all the staff are afforded equal opportunities within employment and that entry into employment with the company and the progression within employment will be determined only by personal merit and the application of criteria which are related to the duties of each particular post and the relevant salary structure. In all cases, ability to perform the job is the primary consideration. Subject to statutory provisions, no applicant or member of staff will be treated less favorably than another because of his or her sex, marital status, sexual orientation, racial group, or disability.

In relation to participants, we aim to provide creative and educational workshops of excellent quality.
